Porpoise or Dolphin
(Adopted 1975)

Large and uniformly grayish, with a paler belly and a short beak with a slightly longer lower jaw. The Californian species has white on the upper lip. The Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin, common along the Atlantic Coast, is similar but has no white on the upper lip.
